INTERNATIONAL STUDENT COURSES

We offer courses in:

Kora
Balafon
Drumming (Djimbe / Mandinka Drums / Dundun)
Dance

Lessons are held on our school campus, and are between the hours of 10am and 4pm. Depending on which course you select, you can study up to 6 hours in a single day. If you book your course during our Term time there is the choice of also joining some of the Junior student classes to get a feel of playing in an ensemble.

Courses can be booked for a single person, or for up to 10 students in one class.

1.5 Hour Session

This class can be taken on either a Wednesday or Thursday during term time. This session can be held at either 9.30am - 11.00am, or 3.00pm - 4.30pm.

3 Hour Session

This class can be taken on either a Wednesday or Thursday during the school term time. The session is runs from 3:00pm - 6.15 (two 1.5 hour sessions with a 15min break in the middle).

One Week Course - 15 Hours

This course consists of 3 hours per day for a total of 5 days. Lessons run from monday to friday at 3:00pm - 6.15pm.

Two Week Course - 30 Hours

This course consists of 3 hours per day for a total of 10 days. Lessons run from monday to friday at 3:00pm - 6.15pm.

Longer Courses

You can contact us to let us know if you require a longer course than two weeks or if you require more than 3 hour classes per day. However, we recommend 3 hour classes to allow enough time for you to practice before your next lesson the following day. You can also let us know if you wish to study more than one instrument.
